The short answer, platform by platform
| Platform | Fully AI persona? | What the rules say |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | No, in practice | AI content must be captioned as AI. Everyone shown must be a verified creator or an adult whose ID and written consent you hold. |
| Fansly | Only if not photorealistic | Photorealistic AI content is not allowed, even when labelled. Illustrated or animated virtual creators can apply with the owner's real ID. |
| Fanvue | Yes | Fully AI accounts are supported. The owner verifies their ID and the account carries an AI label. |
| Patreon | Only if illustrated or animated | On Adult/18+ pages, lifelike AI people are allowed only if they are real and have documented consent. |
Does OnlyFans allow AI content?
Yes, with conditions. The OnlyFans Terms of Use require AI-generated content to be clearly captioned as AI, with a tag such as #ai or #AIGenerated, and to follow every other part of the Terms.
The other parts are where it gets strict. The same Terms let you post content featuring someone other than you only if each person is a creator you tag on OnlyFans, or an adult whose proof of identity and written consent you hold. The Acceptable Use Policy (last updated September 2025) goes further for adult content: nobody may appear in it unless they have completed OnlyFans’ creator onboarding or provided a release form. It also bans intimate images of another person made without their consent, AI-generated ones included.
Can you run an AI model on OnlyFans?
Not a fully fictional one. A person who does not exist cannot complete onboarding, show ID or sign a release, so an account built around an invented AI model has no way to meet those rules. That is why creator agencies and policy guides read OnlyFans the same way: AI is fine as a tool a verified creator uses on content of themselves, as long as it is labelled.
If you want AI images of yourself for OnlyFans, that is a different job from the one SpicyGen does. SpicyGen never puts a real person’s face into its outputs, including yours: an uploaded photo is described in text and a new person is drawn from that description.
Fansly: no photorealistic AI
Fansly’s help center says photorealistic AI-generated content is not allowed, and that labelling it as AI does not make it acceptable. Its Terms put lifelike AI content behind Fansly’s prior written authorization, along with AI systems that talk to fans without human oversight and AI material passed off as a real human performance.
Non-photorealistic virtual creators can still apply. The person behind the account registers with their real legal identity, passes standard ID verification, and then runs the account under the persona. Co-performers, even voice-only virtual ones, have to be verified too.
Patreon: illustrated yes, lifelike no
Patreon splits AI work by style. On pages marked Adult/18+, AI-generated people who are clearly illustrated or animated are permitted. Hyperrealistic AI people are permitted only if they are real people who have documented their consent. On Safe for All Audiences pages, AI people are fine as long as there is no nudity or adult material. An anime or 3D-style character can work on Patreon; a photorealistic AI model cannot.
Fanvue: the platform built for AI creators
Fanvue welcomes AI creators and supports fully AI accounts: a virtual character whose photos, videos and voice are generated and do not depict a real person. The conditions, from its help centre and Community Guidelines:
- You verify your own identity with a government ID and a selfie, even if your face never appears. The ID is not shown on your profile.
- Every account with AI content carries an AI label, shown next to your display name, AI posts and paid media in chats.
- You must never tell fans you are a real person, and if a fan asks whether you are AI, you answer yes.
- AI characters must look clearly adult. A stated age in a prompt or caption does not override how they look.
- No AI content that looks like a real, identifiable person unless that person is verified and has given documented consent.
- Your profile picture, banner and intro video appear publicly, so they must be safe for a general audience.
The full walkthrough, from persona to first post, is in our guide on how to make an AI model for Fanvue.
How AI creators actually run
The AI creators who last treat the persona like a small media brand, not a folder of generated images.
A persona with a point of view
Give the character a name, a clearly adult age and look, a backstory, a niche, a personality and a caption voice, and decide what fans get for subscribing. Invent the person: do not base the character on someone real or on another creator’s photos. Fanvue compares uploads with content already online, and AI content that closely matches someone else’s photos can be flagged and removed.
One consistent character
Fans subscribe to a person, so the face, build and style have to hold across hundreds of posts. Prompting from scratch each time drifts; a saved character does not. That is what an AI influencer generator with a character builder is for.
A cadence you can keep
Produce in batches. Plan themed sets (an outfit, a location, a mood), generate them in one session, and schedule them across the week. Mix still sets with short videos and the occasional talking clip, and keep a separate supply of safe-for-work images for public profile slots and social promotion.
Disclosure and records
Label AI content the way each platform asks, keep your bio honest, and keep your prompts and generation history. Fanvue may ask for a screen recording of your AI tool, prompts and history to confirm that content is original, and payouts can be held while it checks.
Where SpicyGen fits
SpicyGen is an AI image and video generator for fictional consenting adults. For AI creators, the useful part is the character builder: describe a person once, pick a style (photorealistic, studio, anime, 3D or cartoon), and reuse that character in every image and video so the face stays the same. Browse example characters to see the range.
- Fictional adults only. Prompts that name or describe a real person are refused, and an uploaded photo is never recreated as the same person.
- Every generated image and video gets an AI age check before it is delivered.
- Videos include audio, in vertical 9:16 or other ratios, and talking clips speak a script you write in a voice you choose.
- Each character keeps its appearance prompt and a gallery of everything made with it, which helps when a platform asks how content was made.
- Generation uses credits bought as one-time packs, with no subscription. See current pricing.
Selling what you make is allowed: SpicyGen’s Terms of Service give you ownership of your outputs and allow commercial use, as long as you label them as AI where required and never present them as a real person. SpicyGen keeps a licence to feature videos you create in its own marketing. If your persona is photorealistic, Fanvue is the realistic home for it; an illustrated, anime or 3D persona has more options.
